Case studies / AMMAG Tech
A full-funnel outbound engine that generated 330+ qualified leads a quarter.
Results from one engagement, in one market, at one point in time. They are not a guarantee of what another company will see.
The starting point
AMMAG is a US IT services firm serving enterprise clients across North America and EMEA. When Abdul joined as Business Development Manager there was no outbound function: no sending infrastructure, no playbook, no defined ICP, and a CRM that was not used for revenue reporting.
The brief, reporting to the VP of Technology, was to build the entire outbound revenue engine from scratch and own it through to closed deals.
What we built
- 1. Infrastructure
Dedicated sending domains purchased and configured with SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Mailboxes warmed with monitoring from day one, so the main company domain never sent cold.
- 2. ICP and data
ICPs defined from portfolio analysis and deal velocity data. Lists built and enriched through LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Crunchbase and ZoomInfo.
- 3. Cold email at scale
Four-touch sequences in Apollo and Instantly with dynamic variables per prospect, scaled to 1,200 emails a week while holding bounce under 1% and a 39% open rate. Compliant list management throughout.
- 4. Two-track LinkedIn
An automated track in Dripify at 250 requests a week with if-else branching (accepted to follow-up sequence, not accepted to InMail fallback), delivering a minimum of three discovery meetings a week on its own. A personal track for high-value targets: engagement with their posts and three contextual touches before any InMail. Reply rates of 6% in MENA, 4.1% in the EU and 3.3% in North America.
- 5. Inbound alongside outbound
Google Ads campaigns to refined ICPs with custom landing pages, a HubSpot-integrated website chatbot for real-time qualification, an SEO strategy built on search intent, and Clutch and GoodFirms profiles managed to drive organic inbound.
- 6. HubSpot as the revenue backbone
A 350+ lead pipeline per quarter with full lifecycle tracking, weekly pipeline reviews with the VP on data-backed forecasts, 100% CRM data accuracy, and account expansion that turned one-time deals into monthly dedicated-engineer retainers.
What changed
Named clients closed
Dfinity / ICP (Canada), 1CM Inc (Canada, TSX-listed), Instapay (Silicon Valley) and ERUSD (USA), each a full-cycle close.
A pipeline leadership could forecast from
Weekly reviews ran on real stage data, not estimates.
Recurring revenue from one-off deals
Post-onboarding account management upsold dedicated engineer retainers on a monthly basis.
A system that outlived the role
Infrastructure, sequences, ICPs and CRM process were all documented and handed over.
